| Dress Code |

Good posture is essential in calisthenics work, and loose garments hide bad habits. Therefore all class work is performed a uniformed dress code, either selected each year by the team coach for a reasonable fee, or participants should dress in the following:
Baggy clothes, tracksuit tops or pants are not to be worn during classes. If a top is needed in cooler weather a long sleeve leotard and leggings are suggested. Jewellery is banned in class and at competitions. Earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anklets all can cause harm if caught with a rod etc, these are also expensive to replace if misplaced or damaged. This rule exists for safety reasons. Please try to remove all jewellery before each class For class and competitions an Action Club T-shirt and tracksuit can be purchased. These should be worn with white sneakers to complete the uniform. All participants are encouraged to wear these whenever possible, especially to competitions and club events. Please see your Manager or a Committee Member for more information on club items. Action badges and bags are also available for purchase at a small price. During competitions spray tanning of the legs is now a compulsory part of our team uniform for all Action age groups above Tinies. Teams are sprayed at a prearranged time and venue, generally the day/evening before a team competes. This is to allow the tanning product to develop adequately and set prior to a competition commencing. Action use professional equipment and a tanning solution called Natural Tan (an Australian product). Product information is available from your Team Manager or the Head Coach. If you child has sensitive skin, a test patch for allergy purposes can be arranged prior to competitions. If allergies are detected alternative tanning arrangements will be discussed with the particular individual. Any concerns you may have should be raised with your Team Manager well in advance of competitions. All team members are expected to participate in spray tanning. Failure to do so compromises the overall uniformity of the teams appearance and can result in the loss of points for each item (20 points are awarded for each item for overall uniformity). Therefore if you are unwilling to have your child tanned, participation in Actions competitive teams will be reviewed by the Action committee. The following items are required for the calisthenics year:
