Girls aged 14 years and over who have participated in Calisthenics for the last three years and have their Grade 2 certificate in the Calisthenics Skills program, are eligible to apply to become a cadet. This involves training with Action coaches in the many aspects of running a Calisthenics team. Cadets must also register with the ACF Cadet program which is a pre-requisite to the Level 1 Coach Program which involves a two-part course. Once a cadet has completed their training and is 18 years of age, they are eligible to be assessed for completion of the ACF coaching accreditation. In addition Action offers class assistant positions to those younger members of the club looking to assist calisthenic classes each week. Class assistants must be 12 years of age, and complete an internal course each year with the Head Coach and be available to attend class events and competitions for the team they will work with throughout the year. |
