Action Calisthenics holds fundraising events throughout the year. The major of these is the Walkathon in March at Lake Ginninderra. Other events may include sausage sizzles and Mac Fun Nights at MacDonald’s.

With the success of these events, Action is able to keep club membership fees amongst the lowest in Canberra.

Action also provides fundraising opportunities for those attending competitions interstate. These help families meet the costs of accommodation and travel.

WALKATHON

This event is also used as a team bonding experience while walking around Lake Ginninderra. In past years teams have a fancy dress theme to add a bit more fun to a great day out.

There are great prizes for those who really get into the fundraising spirit and get lots of sponsorships. After the walk everyone is invited to participate in the free sausage sizzle.

SAUSAGE SIZZLES

Action Calisthenics has been fortunate to be allocated sausage sizzles at Magnet Mart, Gungahlin. These sausage sizzles is a great opportunity to raise funds for the club as well as being a good chance for parents to get to know each other. Help is always needed and as we all know “many hands make light work”.

MCFUN NIGHTS

Invite family and friends to these fun filled nights at Macca’s and Action receives a percentage of the profits. What better way to fundraise?
